EVALUATION
We conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess strengths and weaknesses in all areas of speech, language, play, oral-motor, and oral-sensory development. This includes oral-motor, vocal quality, speech production (articulation), receptive and expressive language, auditory and language processing, pragmatic language, and social skills. Evaluations can be conducted with or without a written report. Results can be summarized in a parent/caregiver meeting or can be written, depending on parent need or want.
CONSULTATION
Sometimes you may want a second opinion, a quick screening, a review and discussion of an evaluation, or an observation of your child’s performance in the classroom. With parental consent, our consultation services also include speaking to other specialists connected to your child to discuss diagnostic findings and collaborate on treatment goals, and attending meetings with members of educational teams.
